I bought a Sabah made penebas blade last week at Tamu Limbang. About 22" long made of a car spring iron. So this blade is going to be my latest Parang project. Thinking on making the hilt part like a sword hilt, about 10" to 12" long with a parang like scabbard. Hu..hu.. cant wait to finish this one. But one more thing to get before starting this project is the wood for the hilt and scabbard. Hhhhmmmm.. what type of wood should i use...
